The summer is just around the corner! The sunny days outside, the smell of the air as the neighbors barbecue, and the longer days all contribute to the excitement of the arrival of summer! One of my favorite things to do at the beginning of a new season is to make an adventure list! This is always a fun activity to do with my loved ones. It brings us joy and creates a since of excitement for the upcoming months. It also prevents the dreaded sense of boredom that is sure to rise in kids fresh out of school! Don’t be shy when creating your list! Have fun and consider all the things you’ll truly enjoy doing this summer!

Get to Brainstorming!

Before you begin writing your list, start brainstorming! Ask yourself questions that will help you determine what is feasible as well as what is truly important to you!

  • What are your favorite things to do?
  • What sort of activities recharge you?
  • Are there any new skills you want to learn?
  • Are there any nearby places you can take a day trip?

These are just a few questions you could ask yourself. I encourage you to come up with more that are unique to you and the kind of summer you want to have! By now you should have a pretty good idea of some things you’d like to do, but just in case you’re stuck, I’ve got you covered!
